I’m Dennes, better known online as MisterJ or Jay. I work across backend software, distributed systems, desktop applications and the infrastructure that makes them dependable.

I care about knowing how a system behaves in the real world, not just how neatly it diagrams. That leaves room for careful engineering, odd experiments, and a healthy suspicion of simple answers.
